The Greening of Radio
For those of you who have not noticed, the Green movement has come to radio. There are several stations throughout the country – WXRV-FM, WTGB-FM, and KQKE-AM among others – that have gone Green either in their programming or in the technology they use to broadcast. So there is no longer an excuse to not be involved in the Green movement. You don’t use solar energy, compost, recycle, shop organic, use compact fluorescent bulbs, conserve water, or make any attempt to decrease your carbon footprint? Well the least you could do is listen to Green radio, don’t you think? I mean, everyone listens to the radio! Radio World Online is running a good series on this very topic.
The planet thanks you…
