Ragan’s Media Relations Report on Radio and Social Media
We were recently quoted in the November issue of Ragan’s Media Relations Report, in an article titled “Old-School Media with Plenty of Impact.” The article focused on radio stations and networks holding their own against the rise of social media, and noted that 95 percent of Americans tune in to radio every day. The following is the quote as it appeared:
“Consumers may take radio for granted because it has become such a familiar part of their everyday lives, but therein lies its strength, “ says David Beasley, marketing manager at News Generation Inc., a Bethesda, Md., PR firm specializing in radio placements. “Radio’s power comes from its accessibility. People can listen to radio in almost any location – at home, the car, or work – and it remains a free medium for listeners.”
Ragan’s Media Relations Report always has great content.
