Change is the Name of the Game in Radio


In the dynamic world of radio, change is an everyday occurrence. So in this entry, we’ll focus on the most recent high level radio staffing and formatting changes on the radio dial.

Brian Sussman succeeds morning show host Lee Rogers on KSFO-AM, San Francisco. The evening show featuring Brian Sussman is now moving to AM drive as he replaces the retiring Lee Rogers.

Bill Handel ends syndicated show. The KFI-AM, Los Angeles morning drive star is ending his additional midday syndicated talk show on Premiere Radio Networks.

In related news, Bill Carroll is replacing Bill Handel in the noon – 2:00 p.m. weekday slot on KFI-AM in Los Angeles.

KSTP-AM in Minneapolis switched formats from news/talk station to sports talk outlet on Monday, February 15.

WLS-AM in Chicago drops Mancow’s local show after 15 months.
