On-Site

On-site event coverage includes recording spokespeople on-site at a convention or other centralized event and preparing several audio news releases (ANR) for distribution.  An ANR is a 60‑second news story that includes a sound bite from your spokesperson or event participant that is approximately 20-seconds in length.  The story is pitched and fed to interested stations and networks over the phone.  ANRs are pitched during morning drive time when newsrooms are fully staffed.  Stations and networks can download audio from our radio content site www.radionewssource.com, request an audio file via e-mail or record an audio feed over a phone line.  An e-mail or fax of the script is made available to the stations and networks as well.

Benefits of Service:

  • On-site recording and interaction with spokespeople;
  • Maximize exposure by reaching many stations/networks in a short period of time;
  • Quick turnaround time after recordings;
  • Personalized contact with radio reporters when pitching the story;
  • Reaching hometown markets of spokespeople; and
  • Ability to localize a national story via localized sound bites.

The Service Includes:

  • Writing a general script to be used as a template for each release (with your final approval);
